Welcome to our web site we are Mike and Jenny Kelm and live in the Cotswolds. KastleKelm Miniatures was started by us in 2008. We attend the Miniatura and Kensington dolls house fairs as well as Thame which supports breast cancer so this is mainly where our work can be found and bought.
We work very differently but also create items together too. I love the fantasy side of Miniatures and started by making many book themed items and sculpting in polymer clay. My ideas for miniatures are found from many different sources mainly from illustrations in art books and through Mikes work. Mike works in the film industry so I am lucky enough to sometimes be able to go around film sets. He has worked on many films starting with 'Raiders of the lost ark' and 3 of the 'Star Wars' films. Many others but I think it was seeing the sets of Terry Pratchett's 'colour of magic' with all the wizard items and wonderful over the top book cases that made us want to create these scenes and objects in Miniature. Mikes Miniature work is mainly 'Grandads' Workshop' items, Fantasy items and Steampunk too! We are always looking for something a bit 'different' to create in Miniature!
